CARL BROWN
Princeton High School – Hurdler & Jumper
Carl Brown helped lead Princeton High School to 3 state team titles from 1953-1955, while scoring massive points and winning multiple individual state titles himself.
In 1953 Brown won the 180 Low Hurdles at the Group III State Meet and earned silver in the 120 Hurdles. He also scored by finishing in a three-way tie for the High Jump crown.
In 1954 Brown scored in both hurdles at the state meet, as Princeton’s team won the Group III state meet again.
In his best season, at the 1955 Group III meet, Brown boosted Princeton to the team title yet again by winning 2 golds and a silver and breaking a state record.
