Alvarez ran his fastest open 400m ever — indoors or out — to win his first CVC championship, just holding off Kinsler. Jones also ran a half-second PR to get 3rd place. Strickland and Allison were in heat 4 of 7, but they pushed each other to fast times and both broke into the medals. Toure took 5th in his first open 400m of the year.

Burke took the lead with 700m to go and cruised unchallenged to the win in an indoor PR of 4:30. Pradeep, running in his first race since RunningLane XC Nationals in December, made a huge push to close on Thompson but ultimately had to settle for 4th place after Hurst and Jha caught him with nice kicks down the homestretch. Studivant ran a huge PR — one of the fastest times in school history — to get a surprise point for Ewing in this race.

68.22Yi-Tiang Xiong2027Princeton

It was a great day for the top hurdlers! Jusino Lansing, who broke 7.7 for the first time in the prelims, did it again in the finals to defend his county title. His time of 7.62 is a school record and stands as #12 in New Jersey! It took a major PR to beat Young, who also ran his best race ever and is now NJ #22. Kallie dropped his PR by over 0.2, and Stewart dropped his PR by more than 0.3. Jones and Xiong impressed in the prelims with PRs of 8.02 and 8.08.

52:05.71 Patrick McCray2025Trenton
62:06.87 Nihar Kolachalama2025Steinert

Allison led this race wire-to-wire to get the dominant win in his first open 800m of the year. Ferrer bounced back from the 1600m to grab 2nd place thanks to a big kick over the last 100m. Toure got 3rd place here to go along with his 5th place finish in the 400m. Kostin and Kolachalama had great races to give Steinert two scorers in the 800m. McCray cut almost 3 seconds off his 800m PR. The top 6 were all seniors, so this event will be wide open next year.

66.78Aldric Crawford2026Notre Dame

Williams ran a big PR by almost 0.1 in the finals to take the 55m title in 6.61. Behind him was a blanket finish — 2nd place and 6th place were separated by just 0.06 seconds. Alvarez topped that group with a nice lean. Jones, Koduah, and Jusino Lansing all ran significant PRs. Crawford was just 6th in the final but ran an impressive 6.69 in the prelims.

510:26.07 Andy Chi2026WW-P North
610:31.19 Patrick McCray2025Trenton

Thompson, who was coming back after his win in the 1600m, set the pace for most of this race, but Curley closed in an impressive 64-second 400m to take the lead and eventually break away over the last 100m. That’s a new 3200m PR for Curley. Abad-Delgado also ran a 15-second PR to narrowly beat the time that Lang ran to win the prior heat. Chi was just a second off his outdoor PR for 5th overall. McCray, who stuck with Thompson and Curley the longest, came away with a new PR and his second medal of the day. Also, although Ewing’s Jandyn Loesch just missed out on the medals with his 10:35, the sophomore deserves credit for breaking the Ewing indoor 3200m school record.

Alvarez ran an indoor PR to take down the 200m field and earn his 2nd win (and 3rd medal) of the day. Hines ran a big PR to win the second-to-last heat, though Crawford just dipped under the time to get 2nd place. Just like in the 400m, Strickland ran a quick time in the non-seeded heat to steal more points for Robbinsville.

In a showdown between between the top two long jumpers in Mercer County, Inayat narrowly against Crawford by just 1.5 inches. Mahmoud was just a couple inches back in his first attempt at the long jump this winter, and Spagnoli jumped a season’s best for 4th place.

643-0.5Kyle Coombs2025Ewing

The most spectacular moment of the meet was probably Wilton’s monster throw of 61-0.5. Not only did the Brown University commit shatter the 60’ barrier, but his throw is #12 in the United States! It’s also a new CVC record. Behind him, Damsiewicz scored an upset by getting 2nd place — after coming in seeded 7th — thanks in part to a 2-foot PR of 45 feet, a new Robbinsville school record. Coombs also had a 15-inch PR to break into the medals.

Mahmoud had a huge jump to break 46’ for the first time! That’s #3 in New Jersey this year, a new school record, and, according to MileSplit, #5 all-time in Mercer County.
